چکیده
Level 1—General training (1 month) to provide the ardiovascular trainee with a working knowledge of CMR ethods and diagnostic utility. Level 2—Specialized training (at least 3 months) deigned to provide fellows with the skills necessary to ndependently interpret CMR imaging studies. Level 3—Advanced training for those who ultimately ish to be responsible for the operation of a CMR laboraory. Level 3 criteria must include appropriate levels of atient care, teaching, and research.

The Correlation between Left and Right Ventricular Ejection Fractions in Patients with Ischemic Heart Disease, Documented by Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Introduction: The correlation between right and left ventricular ejection fractions (RVEF and LVEF, respectively) has been studied in only a small number of patients with a marked decrease in RVEF and LVEF. The aim of the present study was to compare LVEF and RVEF in patients with ischemic heart disease. RVEF and LVEF were measured by Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) imaging. Materials a...
متن کاملStandardized image interpretation and post processing in cardiovascular magnetic resonance: Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) Board of Trustees Task Force on Standardized Post Processing
With mounting data on its accuracy and prognostic value, cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) is becoming an increasingly important diagnostic tool with growing utility in clinical routine. Given its versatility and wide range of quantitative parameters, however, agreement on specific standards for the interpretation and post-processing of CMR studies is required to ensure consistent quality...

متن کاملCardiovascular magnetic resonance activity in the United Kingdom: a survey on behalf of the british society of cardiovascular magnetic resonance
BACKGROUND The indications, complexity and capabilities of cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) have rapidly expanded. Whether actual service provision and training have developed in parallel is unknown. METHODS We undertook a systematic telephone and postal survey of all public hospitals on behalf of the British Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance to identify all CMR providers wi...
متن کاملCardiac pseudotumor: tissue characterization by cardiovascular magnetic resonance.
We present serial cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) in a case of cardiac pseudotumor (inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor). The diagnosis proved difficult and was helped by myocardial tissue characterization using CMR. Intrinsic contrast and extrinsic contrast (using gadolinium-DTPA perfusion, early and late imaging) differentiated between normal and pathological tissues and demonstrated t...
